I finally fixed this by locating and deleting every location on my computer
that chromium scatters its trash:
find /home/user/ | grep chromium

Firefox fails to launch if Network Connections Aren't Established
I noticed that 18.04.1 has been released. Has there been any progress
for providing fractional scaling (via the default GUI) like was offered

Chromium Freezes Upon Adding Folder to Bookmarks Bar
Public bug reported:
When I try to add a folder to the "Bookmarks bar" in Chromium, the
application freezes and I have to close and re-open Chromium before I
can begin using it again.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) From Chromium's 3-vertical-dot menu, go to "Bookmarks" and select "Show
bookmarks bar".
Are you on drugs? (j/k). However, let's keep our diagnostics strategies
open source please.
I tried reseting the profile going here:
chrome://settings/resetProfileSettings
It didn't help.
Later, I deleted this folder:
/home/user/.config/chromium
Upon next launch, Chromium recreated that folder
