Well you're right on this one Robert. After switching to gdm I get
exactly the same results. Also switching between consoles with alt-ctrl-

On LiveCD it's fine and so is when I disable proprietary nvidia driver
on actual install. After a fresh install everything works fine until I
use jockey to enable proprietary driver. Knowing this I was almost sure
it's nvidia-current issue but then I've tried installing Gnome Shell and

It's Radiance and Ambiance themes. As a workaround you can use icons
from /usr/share/notify-osd or use a different theme.

Well it seems that nautilus wrongly assumes that every linux ext partition must
be ext3/4. I'm not sure how exactly it assesses the partition type but it seems
buggy in this case. I was also able to confirm it on my system.

When using configuring screen to be placed on the left side Unity
behaves incorrectly. The screen on the left monitor is containing
duplication of the main screen. This means that when I reach edge of the
external display the content contains duplicated copy of main display
