Also had problem with alt-shift combinations set via region and language
settings. Solved it by: gnome-tweak-tool - typing - key(s) to change
layout - disable

Fresh install of ubuntu gnome 13.04. When i try to connect to sftp location in
nautilus asks for password and offers several options. One of them remember
forever. Next time when i need to connect to this location it asks for
password again. And so on.
I've upgraded to
I'm sorry may be it's my missunderstanding of nautilus functions.
If i use sftp://login:www.server.com and then save password system works
exactly as expected. next time i login to ubuntu and click the sftp
bookmark everything is just perfect.
I guess it's interface problem, not bug.

You
Have just checked left ctrl + left shift and it works again. My problem
with layout switching was directly related with key(s) to change layout
- disable. Maybe you should try logout relogin.
My system: fresh install of ubuntu gnome 13.04 - upgrade via update-
manager -d to 13.10 beta.

You

switch to english combination works as expected.
** Summary changed:

Maybe it's related problem but when there is no window focused keyboard
inicator doesn't show any changes after needed keys pressed. Hotkeys
like Ctrl-Alt-L also don't work. Couldn't reproduce it right now. But
i've seen this this morning. No software upgrades after. I'm on gnome
shell

You
I've also updated from ppa:oibaf/graphics-drivers and everything work
perfectly now. I have two notebooks. One on nouveau (nvidea), other on
intel. Both are solved. So i believe problem is not related directly to
drivers.

I think this bug is not related to Intel. I'm on nvidia nuveau(default)
driver and have exactly the same problem on xubuntu 16.04. Everything
was okay on 15.10. Wokaround Ctrl-Alt-F1 -> Ctrl-Alt-F7 works for me
also. If i change driver to nvidia(proprietary) bug goes away. But this
driver makes
