When removing gdm package on quantal, the dm chooser question is always
presented, even when there is only one dm remaining on the system. This
seems to be caused by an issue in the debconf gdm.prerm script.
I made a little test script and discovered the following, although

longer has a 'daemon_name' key, so the following command will fail with
status 10, if someone trys to configure lightdm from the dm chooser when

On inital boot, gdm fails to load as it is trying to start on VT1. This
seems to be the issue that was previously fixed by the
06_first_vt.patch.

enough about gdm to say this is entirely correct.
I have no idea, if or how multi-seat stuff works, but atleast I can boot
now and it seems to work fine when restarting gdm also.

screensaver activation prevents gdm

I have an epson tx700w printer with duplex module installed, however I
no longer get an option to enable two-sided printing (the option is just
greyed out) when looking at printer settings.

Same issue here, trying to add my network printer in raring. I get the
