[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1299901] [NEW] Display setting can render desktop inoperable on low res screen
Public bug reported: In the Display settings; By changing the scale for menu and title bars to a high setting on a non-ultra HD screen, one can easilly render the whole desktop inoperable, without an easy way back. A user should not be able to do this so easilly without even a warning (it's enough to slide it, and your desktop becomes so large that nothing can be used anymore). Reproduction path: * On a low resolution screen (in my case full-HD). * Go to Display Settings in unity-control-center and slide the Scale for menu and title bars bar to the right. * Result: A desktop large enough for 5 icons to fit on the screen. ** Affects: unity-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to unity-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1299901 Title: Display setting can render desktop inoperable on low res screen Status in “unity-control-center” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: In the Display settings; By changing the scale for menu and title bars to a high setting on a non-ultra HD screen, one can easilly render the whole desktop inoperable, without an easy way back.
