An even better fix for your configuration is to change the dropdown to
"verify name exactly", and then remove the "CN=" part of the field if
you previously had one in your subject match.
Example:
"/CN=example.com" becomes "example.com"

So the way I fixed my installation was to downgrade libwayland0 to
1.0.3-0ubuntu2, and remove ~/.Xauthority (otherwise you can't login).
But yeah, this is introduced by using the qt5 PPA as suggested by the
phone sdk tutorial, AFAICT.

Steam for Ubuntu fails to "paint" its windows after upgrading to 13.04

Since my steam version didn't change during the upgrade to raring I
