Following the ubuntu wiki's instructions on how to enable hibernate in
16.04 resulted in no change. I created a file
/etc/polkit-1/localauthority/50-local.d/com.ubuntu.enable-hibernate.pkla
with the following contents and rebooted my computer:

Happened to me on 12.04 beta. I noticed that when it opened before it
first closed, it was checking my media library from the bottom bar and
it had an option to cancel that. After it closed it doesn't show that
option again and it closes with no crash notification.

It happened to me too. I went to user accounts but there was no accounts
to configure. I later restarted and got a report that gnome-control-
center crashed.
