Reproducible on 18.04.3 LTS on a t460s Thinkpad. (Yes, enable function-
lock, or remember to press Fn + ctrl + alt + f3)
Do a normal login and press CTRL-ALT-F1. Now it switches to a virtual
console showing the boot log. Alas there is no way to switch back
to any other virtual console!! Reboot h
Typo above, the second CTRL-ALT-F1 in the text above should be CTRL-
ALT-F3

have a bit of a handful here.
I have temporarily switch back to unity since the stuttering of movies
and general slugginesh due to gnome-shell is not bearable. But let me

Simply moving a window around on the screen increases the cpu usage
by gnome-shell to 44%. When displaying a movie, totem takes 10%, gnome-shell
takes 22%.

After logging in, after boot, results in less than a minute, in a grabbed mouse
device.
Thus buttonpresses are ignored and I cannot switch windows. Keyboard works
though.
The same behaviour occurs even if using flashback and metacity.
Workaround, ctrl-alt-f1 and then back
Unfortunately it seems like it is actually a bug in the remote
zimbra/beehive/oracle ssl server where the ssl server does not follow
the ssl negotiations properly..
