I am still getting this bug with the proposed version. Ubuntu 20.04 on a
Lenovo machine.
I hope I updated correctly, I followed the instructions linked above to
activate the "proposed" repository and installed the package with "sudo
apt install mutter/focal-proposed", then deactivated the
apport information

I have this too, but with Slack and Nautilus. Steps to reproduce:
1. Have someone send you a file on Slack.
2. Download the file and click on "Open containing folder".
3. The opened Nautilus window is now grouped with the Slack icon on the
launcher.

The main VAIO laptop lid monitor does not come back, stays dark, no backlight.
I have a second HDMI monitor.
The HDMI monitor will come back from screen lock, but scrambled.
