My speakers and headphones jack don't work properly: Ubuntu can't find
these audio output and can't of course reproduce a sound. Using USB
audio card [to connect headphones jack/mic] works, and also I can use
the HDMI video and audio output perfectly.

I had just installed ubuntu 14.04. I was completing the major update. I
guess to get to 14.04.5. Few packages weren't installed. I had to
