I wanted to test the new game mode in Ubuntu 20.04, and noticed that
only the AMD Raven actually works. To do the test, I tried launching a
terminal and running gxgears, both in a normal way, and then
Paul, the "Stop & Quit" action is certainly a plus, but it doesn't solve
this precise bug report, as there still is a case where "Rhythmbox stays
running in the background after quit" (if you just close the window).
I'm not the one to decide whether or not this is the desired behaviour,

is playing, Rhythmbox's icon simply disappears. So, there is no way to

I have gnome-calendar installed on Ubuntu 19.04, and gedit is still
displayed as the only available choice in the default app settings. The
workaround was to run the following: gio mime text/calendar
org.gnome.Calendar.desktop
Now gnome-calendar appears as the default (and only) calendar app...

I'm using Ubuntu GNOME with the staging PPA, so I have Empathy 3.8.1,
which crashes the control center. I guess this fix should be ported to
this version too.

On raring, vertical scrolling is disabled by default (no
/etc/X11/xorg.conf file). I have to execute synclient vertedgescroll=1
to activate it.
For information, it used to be activated by default on all previous
releases.
