I was effect by bug #1077696 when I started using ubuntu 12.10 and had to
revert using 12.04. Both Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and Linux Mint 13 are not effected by
bug #1077696. Probably other distros based on ubuntu 12.04 are ok as well.
Bug #1077696 is marked as duplicate for this one.

On Ubuntu 12.10 this is bug easily triggered. Start video with video player
from gvfs mapped samba share and start same video again with another instance
of that video player (running them simultaneously).
With this gvfs hangs, about 90% of the time. Well for me atleast :)
If it doesn't hang
I'm using quantal 12.10 and gvfs 1.14
I have the same problem you can't kill VLC when it gets stuck which happens
about 50% of the you try to start video.
Same happens with GNOME mplayer if you open two of them to play same file.
Only way to kill all stuck processes is to kill gvfsd-smb.
Tried
Like to add that VLC and GNOME mplayer accesing same file doesn't always
deadlock but deadlocks most of the time.
My laptop is dual core, this deadlock might not happen with single core
computer.

Title:
mounted samba share stops working for file access
Status in “gvfs” package in Ubuntu:
Tried ubuntu 12.10 32bit and gvfs-1.14.0-0ubuntu6 and same problem
exists. Vlc and Gnome MPlayer still hangs still hangs when trying to
play same file. Only way to kill processes is to kill gvfsd-smb. VLC
sometimes hangs when just playing one file, maybe it accesses same file
from multiple
I tested this problem on Linux Mint 13 based on Ubuntu 12.04 and with gvfs
1.12.1-0ubuntu1.1 and this bug is not there. Eveything works, so something must
have changed between ubuntu 12.04 and 12.10.
This bug is also in Linux Mint 14 RC based on Ubuntu 12.10.

Did you read my comments? If i change minimize to Ctrl+Alt+0 it's reseted to
Ctrl+Alt+KP0. Also keyboard shortcuts settings show minimize shortcut as
Ctrl+Alt+0 even if it's Ctral+Alt+KP0.
So i'm really wondering how this bug can be invalid?

What I mean is that Ctrl-Alt-KP0 showing as Ctrl-Alt-0 in keyboard
shortcut is still a bug even if that shortcut reboot thingy is reported
in another bug.

Public bug reported:
Using shortcut Ctrl-Alt-0 doesn't work to minimize window. It's show in System
Settings-Keyboard shows as default.
After testing to find what key combination actually minimized window it was
Ctrl-Alt-KP0 (keypad 0) that minimized window.
When changed minimize window
Seems that if i change shortcut to same Ctrl-Alt-0 it works but after
reboot it's not working anymore and I have to do it again.
