Hi Dan,
Here's how we ultimately got it working (for now):
1) Make sure there are no alsa daily builds installed on that laptop, including
any oem-audio daily build packages.
2) modify the alsa-base.conf file and add a comma before dell, like so:
model=,dell-headset-multi
3) reboot
4) Plug in
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf and add the line “options
snd-hda-intel model=dell-headset-multi”, reboot and test and see if it
works?

I tested the proposed Nautilus package on the following:
Dell Inspiron 5521 with an Elan touchscreen.
12.04.2 64-bit
Before the nautilus fix, the double-tapping on folders didn't work.
After apply the nautilus update in proposed, I can now double-tap to
drill down into folders and launch files,
Confirmed with the xserver-xorg-video-intel package from proposed along
with the latest libdrm from proposed and the kernel where the fixes
landed.
With this combination everything looks good.
Thanks!

If at all possible, please test the pulseaudio fix first. For business

James,
This looks good in 12.04. Everything from what I can tell looks to be

Latest updates look a lot better on deja-dup. On the backup settings
window, everything appears to be translated now.
There appears to be one more thing left to translate, and it is one of
the buttons on the initial setup screen (see attached photo)
