   HOW TO REPRODUCE

  Boot the system.

  ********
  From time to time, some of these happen:
  - The applet doesn't list any wireless network.
  - The applet doesn't show the name of the current network.
  - The icon shows the wired connection symbol, instead of the wifi one.

  The applet needs to re-read the DEVTYPE after the device name changed.

   HOW TO TEST A FIX
  *******************
  In the Terminal application enter:
  nmcli dev

  If it works, in the line for the wireless device, the TYPE column
  should be "wifi". If it doesn't it will be "ethernet".
