I just wanted to give a quick update on this. Using hdajackretask I enabled 0x1B (doesn't matter if it is Internal Speaker or Internal Speaker (LFE)). After that, I opened sound settings and changed output from Analog Stereo to Analog 2.1 Output. The subwoofer still does not work, but the volume

Hi Raymond, I'm a linux noob and I have the same issue on my y700. Subwoofer doesn't work. I see that you've posted some info about pins 0x0f and 0x17, but I don't understand what it means. Is this some setting I can try on my laptop to see if it resolves the issue? -- You received this bug
