Re: [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1964652] Re: Settings program crashes intermittently. Will not shut down. Always happens when I am trying to set Wifi. Wifi does not start automatically
Unfortunately I wiped Ubuntu 20.04 and did a fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04. Ubuntu 22.04 did not have any problems setting wifi and the wifi connects automatically to the hidden network. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1964652] [NEW] Settings program crashes intermittently. Will not shut down. Always happens when I am trying to set Wifi. Wifi does not start automatically
Public bug reported: Settings program crashes intermittenly as I am trying to set/edit wifi settings on a 'hidden network' System Settings (gnome-control-center) stops responding. When I do 'sudo apt-get install --reinstall gnome- control-center' I can get it to start again. Reason for attempting to do Wifi settings is that automatic connection is not working.
