On ubuntu 18.04 LTS, the system freezes when you write something on nautilus.
The search is being made on the main thread, which breaks any possible
interaction with nautilus.
Users used to the old way of searching a file inside the current folder,

After installing all updates on my DELL XPS 13 2018, I have the fan
making a lot of noise and system heating.
Looking into the processes, Xorg is eating 28% of the CPU, and also
update-mime-dat(abase).
This is now a frequent problem and it's eating the battery and slowing
Personnally I have a ASUS UX433 laptop and I applied this patch on the
linux-4.19.8.tar.xz kernel.
Once done all works ok.
It should works also on a ASUS UX533.

Personnally I have a ASUS UX433 laptop and I applied this patch on the
linux-4.19.8.tar.xz kernel with a Debian distro.
Once done all works ok.
It should works also on a ASUS UX533.

i'm also having the same problem... after upgrading to 11.10 from 11.04.
I thought it was some problem in upgrading. SO i installed a fresh copy after
downloading the iso image from the server.
