The exact same thing happens 30% of the times I close/open the lid of my laptop.
Steps:
1. I am logged in and use Firefox, Byobu and a few other desktop applications
2. Time to go back home, I close the lid of the laptop
3. At home, I reopen

Here is how I came into this bug:
I installed 18.04 from scratch a day after it got released.
Twice per day I close the lid of my laptop and open it again after.
Usually it immediately asks me for the password and brings me back to
what I was doing.

This keeps happening every two-three times I close then open my laptop's
lid. It means I lose my work, running VMs, etc, about 3 times per work
week.

Original poster here, I confirm the bug is still present in 18.04 (work
on secret files -> close laptop lid -> anyone opening the lid can
sometimes see the content even without unlocking) although it happens
much less frequently than in 16.04 in my personal experience.

Moving files nautilus extremely slow

Reproduced every time on fresh install of Ubuntu 2015.10 on a Thinkpad
T550 with 16GB of RAM, all settings by default except a few Unity
tweaks, freshly rebooted.
When transferring a 364GB file, Ubuntu becomes extremely unresponsive.
Mouse very difficult to move but I managed to click Firefox&s ic

The ideal workflow would be:
1. Press `PrtSrc`
2. Type the filename
3. Press `Enter`
Right you have to press `Tab` 3 times between steps 2&3, which is not
ideal.
