My only experience is with xfce desktop and I can confirm that from version 16
at least, mouse sensitivity and acceleration settings didn't work correctly.
Generally it was either too slow or too fast. I was happy with too much
acception so I didn't complain. But they have updated the xorg

and "acceleration".

Xubuntu 17.04 here. For me it seems like the acceleration setting is not
having any effect at all. It's just too slow and not usable. This needs
urget fix. Logitech mouse. Worked perfectly with Xubuntu 16.09.

I'd like to add that I have this Hard Lock on both my desktops, mounting a
Celeron (sandy bridge) dual core and the other is mounting a i-5 quad core
Sandy bridge.
Both system mount a Nvidia vga (gt430 and gt480).
I got those hard locks with Mint 14 and Xubuntu 12.10.

When I ask a commnad and it ask me the password, I can't type or paste
it. It doesn't let me do whatever it takes
I realise that although the words doesn't appear, if I write the
password and hit enter, it works. My first day with linux, so I start
