Re: [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1299604] Re: evolution keeps asking for password

2017-11-22 Thread Paul Judd
Upgraded to Debian stretch. New internet provider email account no longer
works, did before upgrade, tried all tricks but still popups for password.
Only Gmail now collects. Also no longer connects to Gmail address in
account.

Re: [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1299604] Re: evolution keeps asking for password

2017-10-29 Thread Paul Judd
I have discovered that if one waits longer, ignores the password popular
evolution will get the mail. If it doesn't then just click the get button.
If everything password popular appears you get multiple entries of mail
password in seahorse and start up process is slowed even more. Using the
previous remedy in the thread you can remove the excess entries.

The password popup problem appears to be a poor communication or poor/out
of order timing with seahorse password manager and evolution start up.

Ignore popup and be patient and all is well, although annoying.

The password question comes up before I have even started Evolution. I

2016-07-26 Thread Paul Judd
PS
it always seems to be last mail password added to the keyring. I have
evolution with several mail accounts. I had to add a new account for a
Instagram account and now it it is only the latter that `bombs`, not the
main gmail account. The pop account for business doesn't fail nor the
internet provider email account that were added prior to the above.

Same situation I have but I'm using gnome-fallback in Debian Jessie.
It is not evolution problem but keyring problem this suggests.

Every now and then, while getting automatic updates, something

14.04 is LTS, which means that if it has been fixed for more recent

killed running X, ran NVIDIA-x.run
started X, all ok.

The Nvidia DKMS process failed for nvidia-331.113 when upgrading from

Have to manually reinstall nvidia-331 and nvidia-331-uvm by,
 # apt-get install nvidia-331 nvidia-331-uvm --reinstall
 after every kernel upgrade.

One thing you could try is to reinstall the package jtex-base which provides
jtex.ini. To do that, run following commands in terminal:
   sudo apt-get install --reinstall jtex-base
   sudo dpkg --configure texlive-binaries

If that doesn't help, then I'm out of ideas...
