It would be a big limitation if the solution to this focuses entirely on pcsc-lite: a) /var/run/pcscd/pcscd.comm is internal and varies between distributions and pcsc-lite versions. I.e. any pcsc-lite library embedded in the snap package is not guaranteed to be able to talk to the system pcscd
