Title: TeX/LaTeX/pdfLaTeX binaries not working over CIFS/SAMBA shares Status in “texlive-base” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Binary package hint: texlive-latex-base When trying to execute latex on the file located in a CIFS share the following error message appears: "!
