I still have this bug with Linux Mint 21.1 Cinnamon 5.15.0-69-generic.
Arduino Mega 2560 RobotDyn R3 over micro USB, syslog:
usb 3-6.4.6.1: ch341-uart converter now attached to ttyUSB0
usb 3-6.4.6.1: new full-speed USB device number 49 using xhci_hcd
usb 3-6.4.6.1: New USB device found,
Updated to Ubuntu 20.04 and still this issue: very limited zoom in
Evince PDF.
Will this bug ever been fixed (15 years old) or will we have to apply
the aforementioned fix on every update?

Any news on a fix in the trunk? As of today, on Ubuntu 19.04, I still
have to change with gsettings.

Maximum zoom in
Thanks Claudio,
Indeed, changing the page-cache-size with the following command:
gsettings set org.gnome.Evince page-cache-size 2014
We are now able have a way bigger zoom ( 3200% ) (screenshot attached)
** Attachment added: "evince_zoom_high.png"
This is ridiculous, 10 years without any progress, I'm switching back to
Windows and Adobe!

Still present on my system:
Linux laptop 4.10.0-42-generic #46~16.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Mon Dec 4 15:57:59 UTC
2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I'm sorry to rumble, but 7 years regressions are what prevents users switching
to linux.

I'm running the same version (12.04 64Bit) as the OP and on the last
update, the Volume wheel of my Dell keyboard doesnt change the volume.
(but it is correctly recognised in the shortcut menu)
Keyboard is Dell USB Enhanced Multimedia Keyboard 0DJ422 SK-8135
Regression somewhere?
