[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1334029] Re: firefox cannot read profile on installed utopic system i386
It turns out the .mozilla directory has no execute permissions so you can see the contents inside of it. Easy workaround In your home folder as root change the permissions of .mozilla with the command in a terminal sudo chmod .mozilla 700 in your home folder and enter your password. To give you read write and execute permissions on your .mozilla directory. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1334029 Title: firefox cannot read profile on installed utopic system i386 Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: To reproduce install from desktop cd selecting install at boot menu. Public bug reported: To reproduce install chromium 34 from proposed with pepperflash. And find a site that you input some text into like indeed.com or some others.
