Hi, I've just installed a fresh version of 12.04 on my machine and am having terrible problems with the screen flickering/going blank for several seconds as well (it was fine with the previous 10.04 version). lspci lists the graphics card as: 03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation
