Public bug reported: As mentioned in the comments on #996981 one needs to have openoffice .org-hyphenation installed in order to have hyphenation in Firefox.
However, openoffice.org-hyphenation has LibreOffice as a dependency, meaning one has either Firefox with hyphenation and the HUGE LibreOffice or Firefox without hyphenation. There is no reason why openoffice.org-hyphenation shouldn't work without LibreOffice. I'm using Xubuntu 12.04.3 LTS. ** Affects: openoffice.org-hyphenation (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to openoffice.org-hyphenation in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1221652 Title: openoffice.org-hyphenation has LibreOffice as Dependency Status in “openoffice.org-hyphenation” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: As mentioned in the comments on #996981 one needs to have openoffice .org-hyphenation installed in order to have hyphenation in Firefox.
