This is just a minor note, but "resynchronize" implies a pure sync, merging is slightly different. Not blocking the sponsorship request. Re: [Desktop-packages] [Bug 2039460] Re: Please merge network-manager-applet 1.34.0-1 from Debian unstable
Thanks for having a look, Bryce. I addressed your points; the build is [2]. Should I always propose the debdiff with the release name instead of UNRELEASED even though it is unreleased at that given point? I'm used not to, but maybe that's something particular of Gnome[1]. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 2039460] Re: Please merge network-manager-applet 1.34.0-1 from Debian unstable
Hi Nathan, In your changelog entry, it shows 'UNRELEASED' as the distro, but that should be 'noble' now. It would also be worthwhile to mention this bug # in the changelog, so it should look like: +network-manager-applet (1.34.0-1ubuntu1) noble; urgency=medium + + * Merge with Debian (LP: #2039460). Remaining changes: +- d/control: + + Build-Depend on on dh-sequence-translations I would also recommend that you set up a PPA and upload the package there, to verify the build against Noble. Please re-subscribe sponsors once this is fixed up. The attachment "nma.diff" seems to be a debdiff. The ubuntu-sponsors team has been subscribed to the bug report so that they can review and hopefully sponsor the debdiff. If the attachment isn't a patch, please remove the "patch" flag from the attachment, remove the "patch" tag, and if you are member of the ~ubuntu-sponsors, unsubscribe the team.
