We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. This bug was reported some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu and Thunderbird since that time. Ubuntu 12.10 (quantal) reached end-of-life on May 16, 2014. Do you still see a problem related to the one that was reported in a currently supported version of Ubuntu? Please let us know if you do and in which version of Ubuntu. This bug influences me as well but i have only the problem with fonts. I deleted the couch-db extention of thunderbird via the software-center. I tried to install the latest beta version of thunderbird 16 via the official ppa - with the same result as seen above.
