Ok, for a full fix allowing me to log into unity, we need: 1. spice-protocol and spice updated to 0.12 from debian and upstream respectively. Both quite simple 2. The upstream git commits up to and including 37c97620da959d9214abfc760835aa3031d54daa pushed onto the xserver-xorg- video-qxl package
