  not able to install the software

  dear team.,i connected my lappy with the reliance broadband..,i am
  able to check my mails and everything..but..,when iam trying to
  update/install a software..,it is showing a warning message as "Check
  your Internet Connection"..pls help me with this..how i can install a
  new softwares..
