[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1063782] Re: Mouse pointer speed settings have no effect
Sensitvity has no effect at all. And even at lowest values for Acceleration it's still too fast. The spectrum of values is too narrow. Plugging in a new mouse the values of the mouse settings are already very low by default. It should be in the middle and then from there the user could adjust the values. When starting from very low values, the settings are very limited already, no possibilities for slowing it down enough. Very annoying. Using a standard wireless mouse with 1000dpi. Values are at lowest, still it's too fast. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1063782 Title: Mouse pointer speed settings have no effect Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Changes in both the Acceleration and Sensitivity options have no effect on the speed of the pointer. I have the same issue after getting a new keyboard/mouse set which is wireless. The old mouse was a cable mouse. I still try to figure out how to fix it.
