Public bug reported: The subwoofer on my laptop is not shown by default in the audio settings. When i try updating the alsa-base.conf file, I can get the subwoofer to appear, but its still disabled. I can manage to "enable" the subwoofer by making changes to both the /etc/pulse/daemon.conf and /etc/pulse/default.pa files, however the sound is then full of noise and somehow distorted. Finally, I have beats audio on my laptop, which of course a cannot use.
