command, as it will clear your package cache, in a terminal:
sudo apt-get clean
Then try performing the update again. This will likely resolve your

corruption. So please also run a fsck on your filesystem(s) and a

After upgrading Chromium and re-booting chromium fails to display
pages correctly. It appears that the html is interpreted in
correctly. When up grading received error message that some packages
