I think what Jesusfreak was getting at was the fact that Wednesdays should be written out in default column size. They was it is, you have to mosify your column spacing in order to be able to see all dates clearly wich can be a minor annoycance especially for new users. -- You received this bug

The characters do not fit in the default column size so Calc displays ### rather than cutting off the text. This is a feature so you know that there is more data. The column must default to a set size and there is no good argument to widen them just so that this format fits, for starters its a

Thanks for the explanation. I just had no idea what ### could mean - its not very intuitive. I do know that cells with the format Number/General have a small red arrow at the right edge when content does not fit. This is much easier to understand and I was expecting this here as well. -- You
