Title:
Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in raise()

Status in “xorg-server” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
On a virtual Raring machine under kvm-qemu and Virtual Machine Manager
to display the machine's screen in a window on the host's desktop I
switched the emulated graphics card from cirrus first to qxl and when
this only showed a black screen I switched to vmvga. As the default
resolution was higher than the resolution of any really existing
monitor I used the "Display" section of the System Settings to turn it
to a more useful value, first to 1920x1080 (native resolution of
host's monitor) and after that to 1280x720 (for displaying in a
window) which all worked. The crash happend probably while booting
into vmvga and got only visible by the automatic crash report.
