Same problem here. Lenovo T410, nvidia gpu, ubuntu 12.04. Using the nvidia driver then breaks the mousepad scrolling and the FN keys for dimming and so one. So nvidia proprietary driver does not really seem to be a solution for me syslog: Nov 10 21:05:05 ThinkPad-T410 kernel: [ 564.049268]
