Potential workaround: Open a terminal and issue the command gksudo gksudo gedit /var/lib/dpkg/info/fglrx-pxpress.postinst This will most probably ask for the password and then open an editor with the post installation script loaded. Scroll down to the end of the file and then about ten lines
