Public bug reported: 1) Ubuntu 13.10 2) libreoffice: Installed: 1:4.1.3~rc2-0ubuntu1~saucy1~ppa2 Candidate: 1:4.1.3~rc2-0ubuntu1~saucy1~ppa2 Edition Table: *** 1:4.1.3~rc2-0ubuntu1~saucy1~ppa2 0 500 http://ppa.launchpad.net/libreoffice/ppa/ubuntu/ saucy/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:4.1.2~rc3-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://gr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ saucy/universe amd64 Packages
3) I have both english and greek input keyboard layout. When pressing "ctrl+c" = copy command and "ctrl+v" = paste command. When I change the input layout to greek "Ctrl+Greek psi" (same keys as "ctrl+c") should be also copy command and "Ctrl+Greek omega" (same keys as "ctrl+v") should be also paste command. 4) When using english input layout, it works. When using greek input layout, Ubuntu recognizes it as copy or paste keys (tested on copying files in nautilus and it works fine). BUT, when using greek layout inside Libreoffice "Ctrl+Greek psi" and "Ctrl+Greek omega" are dead keys: nothing happens no matter how many times I tested it. ps. I waited for libreoffice to be updated before I post this issue hoping that it should be fixed. Now, although I upgraded to libreoffice 4.1.3.2 problem still remains. Hope it helps. ** Affects: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1246940 Title: libreoffice fail to ctrl+c/v when not english input layout Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: 1) Ubuntu 13.10 2) libreoffice: Installed: 1:4.1.3~rc2-0ubuntu1~saucy1~ppa2 Candidate: 1:4.1.3~rc2-0ubuntu1~saucy1~ppa2 Edition Table: *** 1:4.1.3~rc2-0ubuntu1~saucy1~ppa2 0 500 http://ppa.launchpad.net/libreoffice/ppa/ubuntu/ saucy/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:4.1.2~rc3-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://gr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ saucy/universe amd64 Packages 3) I have both english and greek input keyboard layout.
