[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1275363] Re: No nVIDIA binary driver available that supports GeForce 210
I find it odd that the 331.xx driver does not list support for the 210, but does support the 310 (basically a rebadged 210) and older generations of cards. Perhaps you should contact nvidia about the matter.. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1275363 Title: No nVIDIA binary driver available that supports GeForce 210 Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: * nvidia-319 is a transitional package that redirects to nvidia-331 * nvidia-331 DOES NOT support GeForce 210 * nvidia-173 (next step down) also DOES NOT support GeForce 210 Therefore, there is not a binary driver installable with apt-get that supports the GeForce 210. nVIDIA's official stance is that those with this card should use the 319.xx driver series which is no longer available. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1275363] Re: No nVIDIA binary driver available that supports GeForce 210
I somehow missed nvidia-304. HOWEVER, Ubuntu will try to install nvidia-331 for this card, which will not work.
