Unicode character handling changed with Déjà Dup 34.2. If you still
experience this problem with that (or a later) version, please open a
new bug report. Closing.

  deja-dup (restore dialog) is unable to display äöü correctly

Status in deja-dup package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  i wanted to restore missing files on my home. so i right clicked into
  my home and choosed "restore missing files". then a dialog pops up and
  was listing all objects which are in the backup but not in the current
  home.

  There is "Arbeitsfläche" (Desktop) and "Öffentlich" (puplic)

  The ä and ö was not displayed correctly. See also the attached
  screenshot
