Public bug reported:

I have a tri-monitor setup, two monitors going off of a GPU (Nvidia GTX
650 TI Boost Edition, MSI version so overclocked) and the third going
off of Integrated Graphics on my 4670k intel CPU. On the two monitors
using the GPU, the mouse has terrible flashing and flickering, and
sometimes it sometimes completely disappears. However, on the monitor
using the Intel Integrated graphics, it works fine and I have no
problems. I've done some testing, and on 14.04 the entirety of X server
works for a bit, then crashes completely after a few minutes (sometimes
gives GPU lockup errors after waiting for a while). On 14.10 it is
stable enough to use, but the mouse flickers terribly like I just talked
about. This same problem has been mentioned here
(http://askubuntu.com/questions/450655/mouse-flickering-on-one-of-my-
two-screens). The proprietary Nvidia drivers aren't exactly an option at
the moment, as they won't allow me to use the intel GPU for the third
monitor. Some research I've done seems to indicate it's a bug in X
server or the Nouveau drivers. My xrandr output is included in the
attachment.
