I guess it is due to the fact Firefox calls up the OpenGL automatically,
even running in safe mode, while "/other/" browsers do not act in the
same way. !

I am seeing this on Wily as well. Additionally, this might be unrelated,
sometimes, on youtube, video is black (sound works) when it switches to
_HD_, fullscreen or windowed.
