I had the same problem after updating ubuntu to 17.04. After some recent updates it seems to be solved and system doesn't crash anymore, but the cpu fan is overworking and the computer is heated abnormally. This happens only with Facebok in Mozilla Firefox and closing Facebook tab put the system
