Hello have an update; I can now use scroll on touch screen and pinch zoom also works but only in chrome not other applications. Probably chrome uses a different approach. It can be a lead. Also there is no advance on touch pad still acts as mouse. -- You received this bug notification because

Hey, joining the bug. I have an Asus E205SA, which is a great little device. I've just tested with Kernel 4.6 from Mainline, and it seems to improve things somewhat, as the sensitivity of the touchpad is more manageable, but still only detected as a mouse. Happy to help test more. Kernel 4.7rc1

This issue appears to be an upstream bug, since you tested the latest upstream kernel. Would it be possible for you to open an upstream bug report[0]? That will allow the upstream Developers to examine the issue, and may provide a quicker resolution to the bug. Please follow the instructions on
