I even tried to manually load the module with modeset=1, yes. Will have to try again, maybe there has been a change since I last tried that fixes it. What do you mean when you say it's working? Checking in 17.10 PRIME Synchronization can be enabled & works in UbuntuGnome but doesn't in Ubuntu.
