[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1686345] Re: apt-get libmagick++-6.q16-6v6 depend missing

2017-07-26 Thread pbhj
Still the same for me. I installed 0.92.1 on Ubuntu 17.04-Zesty by using
"apt-get download" to get the inkscape and libgtkspell0 debs, installing the
available libmagick++-6.q16-7 in the usual way ("sudo apt-get install ...") and
then doing `sudo dpkg -i --force-depends ./inkscape*.deb` and same for
libgtkspell0. Then creating a link with `sudo ln -s
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libMagick++-6.Q16.so.{7,6}` and running `sudo
ldconfig`.
It appears to work.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1686345] Re: apt-get libmagick++-6.q16-6v6 depend missing

2017-04-26 Thread Mattia Rizzolo
Well, the problem is not of the package in ubuntu, which is correctly
built against libmagick++-6.q16-7 instead of libmagick++-6.q16-6v6.

Whoever maintains the PPA ppa:inkscape.dev/stable has to do another upload to
rebuild inkscape there.
Subscribing ~bryce who did the last upload there
