You have been subscribed to a public bug: When I try to add an encrypted partition to a 64GB SD or MicroSD card, the disks tool either times out or crashes. I have tested on both Mate and Cinnamon.
This works correctly on LinuxMint 17.x, it is only a problem on 18.x. I have also tested this on both Mate and Cinnamon. To reproduce: Launch Disks Insert new 64GB SD card Delete exFat partition Add new encrypted partition: * Use full SD card (Free Space Following = 0) * Type = Encrypted, compatible with Linxux systems (LUKS + Ext4) Disks either times out or crashes. Crash happens every time with Micro SD. ** Affects: gnome-disk-utility (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Disks tool crashes or times out when adding encrypted partition https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1697232 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-disk-utility in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
