Public bug reported: The libreoffice snap comes bundled with a JRE, but in the options it is not selected by default, meaning that the user has to go and select it explicitly before they can make use of functionality that requires java (e.g. create a database with libreoffice.base).
See attached screenshot. Ideally, the JRE would be selected by default. ** Affects: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Assignee: Olivier Tilloy (osomon) Status: Confirmed ** Tags: snap ** Attachment added: "no-jre-default.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1750111/+attachment/5057067/+files/no-jre-default.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1750111 Title: [snap] No JRE selected by default Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: The libreoffice snap comes bundled with a JRE, but in the options it is not selected by default, meaning that the user has to go and select it explicitly before they can make use of functionality that requires java (e.g. create a database with libreoffice.base).
