Using Ubuntu 18.10 here I can't seem to reproduce the problem. When I set: Settings > Devices > Screen Display > Orientation it works even in Wayland sessions. Can you please describe in more detail what you are doing and what's not working? ** Changed in: mutter (Ubuntu) Status: New =>
