Right, so it means that you declared your user dir as a template source,
which means it's building a list including every single of your files to
build the template which takes some time, that's not a bug but an user
error

Renaming
~/.config/user-dirs.dirs isn't supposed to be empty since it has the
definition of where those special directories point out, did you delete
it yourself?

rename Templates to "# Templates" and
everything is better.

It's supposed to include only templates for new documents and a
small/selected list. There are known issues if the template includes lot
of data to be read/parsed
